The Country Gardeners have always been very active in the community – with hands-on gardening and landscape design projects, donations to local and national organizations, and scholarships to college students.

Our 2008 Civic Project involved the planning, funding and installation of an entrance garden for one of the residential cottages at The Elwyn Institute located in Media, PA. The Elwyn Institute is a center that provides services for children and adults with disabilities. The residents of Cottage 5 assisted with the planning of the garden and are active in maintaining it.
